Open Dictionary from the menu and add what you hear next to what you want written. Every transcript from then on carries the correction.

The app also watches your own edits. Correct the same word in History twice and it appears under Suggestions, ready to become a rule with one click. Nothing is added behind your back.

Snippets

Snippets are the other direction: a short spoken phrase that expands into something long you type often, such as an address or a sign off.
